Headbands

         Girls do you have long hair? Does it always get in your face?  Well try our new product! The headband is great for people like you who have long hair.  The headband is helpful to girls who play sports because it helps then hold back their bangs. They are also used to accessorize.  Girls wear these in their hair to "spice" things up.  Guys can also wear these but not for their hair.  We have made a special product for them. It's called the SPORTS BAND! This collects all their sweat so they won't smell after a game.  I think us girls will appreciate that.
         Sports bands will be made from an absorbent material.  They have to power to hold as much sweat for one day.  The boys will then have to wash it everyday.  The may not use chemicals because it will melt the elastic inside the sports band. Having it have elastic in it makes it so that one size fits all.
         Girls headbands that they use to spice up their hair will be made from a plastic material.  This makes it so it doesn't fall off your head in the middle of the day.  Their will be an addition to the headbands for the girls who play sports.  These will be made form elastic also.  This makes it so that you can keep you bangs out of your face for a game or running track.
        I will be using vertical integration.  I will be making the headbands in my factory, then ship then to stores world wide.  I think this will turn out to be successful because what girl can say that they wont ever use one.  Most do because they play a sport or want to look pretty =]

NEW COMPUTERS!!!!!!

We got new computers for the freshman and sophomores.  Now everyone in high school has one!!! These will be helpful in our school because students wont have to wait until a computer is open in the library.  We are so excited as students to have these.  I think we should be able to access more cites!!  Thanks to the school board for allowing us to have these.  Im ready to take on the responsibility of caring for this thing.  In the future they should make lighter laptops.  LETS HAVE FUN STUDENTS!!!!! but be responsible.

Miner Wanted!

• A miner is wanted for pay.
• You will be working in a very dangerous climate. 
• You must have experience working in mines.
• You would be working in a dark environment, with very little light, mostly under ground and outside. 
• We will supply all the tools need for this job. 
• You will need to work for at least 6-9 hours a day. 
• We perfer you know what to do in case of a collaspe mine happens. 
• Work well with others would be appreciated.  
• You will get paid five dollars a week.

Good job last night to all the volleyball girls.  Everyone did a good job working as a team.  Good job Seniors for their last game for volleyball at West Harrison.  You guys show great leadership.  We hope to follow in your footsteps :)

Homecoming Dance

West Harrison Homwcoming dance was amazing! Had so much more fun at this one than last year.  Thanks to everyone who came and dressed up all week.  Hope you had fun at the dance!

Hawkeye Football

CONGRATS to the West Harrison Hawkeyess for a Epic Victory over Corning 35-34.  You guys played hard and came out with a win.  IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!

All the hard work the South did to gain rights!

The South had to rebuild a lot of buildings and farms while the North had very little damage done.  While farmers had former slaves working on crops and other things, they now had to let slaves vote, go to school, run for office, and pay them for their work. Segregation was now in play.  Whites and blacks had to ride in different carts for transportation.  They had to go to different schools, drink from different fountains, and go to separate bathrooms.  Many, many people died from the Civil War, which broke up many families leaving destruction in their hearts. The social order changes as well.   Now that slaves were free they were moved up.  Still they were not placed highly and women were not as equal as the men.  The political changes to the south had to be the most obvious.  Only because it ended the dispute between the North and South.  During the Reconstruction period the new state government was over powered by scalawags.  Restrictions were put on blacks rights and eventually laws called the " Jim Crow Laws"  were passed.  The "KKK" was founded to keep African Americans from voting.  Many African Americans died due to this cause.  People still believe in the African Americans should be slaves.  People still use words toward them that are not needed.  Everyone should be equal in America.  The "KKK" would do their work in the dark so that no one would see them on the attack. Now thanks to the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments African Americans now have the same rights as Americans do today.
